In November of 2017, My EE had gotten an impacted crop. After 2 1/2 weeks she got better but had a stretched crop. It seem now it is causing her issues. She has been spitting up, drinking alot more water than usual, and is moving her neck. Her crop feels like a mixture of sand and water, and it seems to only empty at night. She layed yesterday and the egg was a bit deformed at the tip. I can tell that her crop is uncomfortable but I don't know how to help. I scared of emptying her crop and I have to wait a week before I am able to buy her a crop bra. Is there any way I can help her?

(Edit: I also haven't seen her poop today)

Massage her crop.
It sounds like silt has built up in that saggy pendulous part of her crop. Massaging it 3-4x daily will help to break it down and enable it to progress through her digestive system. Once you get the crop bra fitted it should prevent that silt from settling there and building up.

I have a hen with almost the same issue except mine has doughy crop. A chicken loving friend suggested using vet wrap for a bra to hold the crop up. Might be cheaper than a bra? I dont know, I havent priced them but might be.

Thank you for the help. Her crop is much smaller and she seems much happier. I should be able to order her crop bra today.
