Here we go again - I'm hatching more goslings!!

The easiest way is to use a fridge chicken egg.. for some reason all my store bought chicken eggs have intact air cells. Hold egg fat end up. Place small, but powerful flashlight on top of egg. You will see an air pocket that is fixed in the fat end. If you move the egg so it is horizontal, that air pocket does not move. That is an intact air cell.

A detached air cell will move when you move the egg, but will still appear like a large air pocket. A ruptured air cell will disappear into fluid when you move the egg into a different position than fat end up.

Picture updates!! Things are coming along nicely.

Thank you for that info. I am going to let them sit for 24 hours. As far as I can tell, the air cells are staying put when I Turn the egg.

Vicky, I assume you are referring to your sebbie eggs? If so, that is fantastic news and the seller knew how to properly ship the eggs (which is sadly not the norm)!!!

Goosed, it looks like those will internally pip on you overnight.... which puts you on track for a day 28/29 internal pip. That's great!!!

I'm so excited! I'll be getting up to turn the others around 2:30, so I'll check the progress then I'm sure. I know I won't be able to resist! I'm wondering if I'm gonna have an Easter baby!

Do you have a separate hatcher to lock down in? You will be needing to get that humidity up to 75% pretty soon!!

Oh ya I do! It's sitting ready at 99* and 65% humidity. It was higher humidity earlier, so I'll add more water to adjust back to 75%. I really hope you're going to be around the next couple days! lol. Thanks for kind of holding my hand through this....
