Vicki, do you know how to candle for detached and/or ruptured air cells?
The easiest way is to use a fridge chicken egg.. for some reason all my store bought chicken eggs have intact air cells. Hold egg fat end up. Place small, but powerful flashlight on top of egg. You will see an air pocket that is fixed in the fat end. If you move the egg so it is horizontal, that air pocket does not move. That is an intact air cell.
A detached air cell will move when you move the egg, but will still appear like a large air pocket. A ruptured air cell will disappear into fluid when you move the egg into a different position than fat end up.
Goosed, it looks like those will internally pip on you overnight.... which puts you on track for a day 28/29 internal pip. That's great!!!
Do you have a separate hatcher to lock down in? You will be needing to get that humidity up to 75% pretty soon!!
