Here we go again - I'm hatching more goslings!!

Thanks, Marty! Molasses took it's time, but came out with yolk sack absorbed and although exhausted, his wings and feet are working as they should. I see no reason why this baby won't thrive nicely!

Sorry about your weak sebbie and your button. This has been a bad week for birds. I am relieved that you had a pair make it, so they can be buddies. Here's hoping my Erin Toulouse baby will hatch ok in the next 48 hours and then molasses will have a buddy.

Iain, about time he came out to be in the world. I thought the Toulouse would get out before him at the rate he was going.

Marty, I lost track on your last hatch. I low you have a Toulouse and a Sebastopol, what else do you have from the geese? Remember once they hit the 48 hour mark they shouldn't be in the bator and should have food 24/7 along with water deep enough for those bills.

Have three strong eggs in the hatcher. Won't be until Friday/Saturday before they even think of fully hatching. Moved another Peaches egg along with 4 buff Pomeranian eggs into the transition bator last night. Check the, this morning and huge air cell drops over night. Right on track to start internally pipping tomorrow.

Marty, I'm so sorry to hear about your little baby

I'm glad your other 2 are going strong.

Iain congrats on the cayuga!! It's about time lol

Thanks!!! He hatched halfway through day 28 and it took 60 hours from the time I opened him up until hatched. I think the name Molasses suits him!!

Now, time to regroup and get ready for Erin's toulouse. It has ALMOST internally pipped (currently 8 hours away from day 29) and is on track to hatch early Saturday (end day 30/beginning day 31).

Then my dewlaps are on day 26 today... so 4-5 days until hatch time for them too!

Molasses is the perfect name for him! Good thing he will have a new friend soon. I hope this one goes better!

I have one on day 26 too. No major changes yet.

I hear ya! I may wind up running to my local feed store to pick up a couple cayuga ducklings, just in case things don't work out with the toulouse baby to be (which, unless this baby is not in proper position, it WILL hatch, even if I have to hatch it out myself).

Are you seeing air cells dipping yet on your day 26 egg?

Not a lot of dipping like I saw on Ester's egg. It is some. The air sac is even a tiny bit bigger than what I drew last night. But it seems like it's not big enough for this late

Iain, the buff dewlaps eggs that I got the week before you are hatching today. One is almost out and the other is just starting the external pip. Out of 4 eggs, one was no fertile, one stopped developing around day 25 and the other two are hatching.

Exner, oh my gosh!! How exciting!!!!!! Pics!! I wanna see them in their hatching stages!!!!!! What day are they on today... 30 or 31??!?!?!

FYI, Exner's buff dewlaps are from Carole!
