Afternoon all. Break in the traffic after selling half of the Khaki ducklings we have available already.

Baby is still pretty cruddy. High fevers all night, and he isn't wanting to nap today. This too shall pass.

Iain, you should contact your state NPIP program leader now so you can get on their testing list. That way you are done and ready to sell and ship hatchlings and or eggs when they start laying. In most states its free, and very easy to get signed up for.

Got an internal pip on my 3/17 baby! I heard the clicking and can feel tons of movements. It's locked in the bator now. Yayyyy!!

so.... I"m seeing reports of tornadoes touching down in central Kansas. Marty, you ok????

First fuzzy baby is all fluffy and full of energy today! I swear I can hear it say, "pick.me.UP!".


The next furthest along, that had pipped the same time as the baby above, is still in the shell. Has broken off a huge section, but rests most of the time. I've checked on it, and the vessels still haven't dried up. It's breathing well, and meeps back if we peep at it. We'll see.

Got a shell pip on the 3rd furthest along, and it's resting and peeping alternately.

As for the 4th, I think it may be going or gone.

Don't believe it ever managed the internal pip.

Hi everyone. Wind is blowing like crazy here, but no tornados nearby that i know of yet. All around, but not here.

The ducks all have ants in thier pants, they know we are surronded by energy wating to unleash itself upon us.

Glad to see so many nice things going on with eggs. Hows things for the Erin egg, Iain? So nice to see the new baby, too.

Babies fever broke this afternoon. Now he can't seem to get enough to eat. So far he has asked for cheese, pizza, soup, chicken, and gravy (namely biscuits and gravy). Obviously I am fixing everything he asks for after not really eatting since Wednesday.

The farm had a good day, both in person and online sales.

Oh and we have 2 buff Pom eggs in lockdown, need to check the others.
