Update: Here is my flock of four, they are all 24 weeks. From left-right..
Rosie Rocket, SS. She is the lowest on the totem pole and not laying yet. I'm a bit worried about her come winter time as the others don't let her onto the top roost so she ends up roosting alone
Louise, BR. She is the top hen, super bossy, really noisy and does chase Rosie a bit. She is laying but often times lays soft shelled eggs. I most likely would not get another one of this breed....
Gretchen, EE. She is super sweet and lays the most beautiful blue/green eggs. She started laying at 18 weeks on the dot!
Thelma, BA. She is also super sweet, quiet and lays big brown eggs. If I could do it all over again? I would have 4 of these girls. She also has the biggest brown eyes, like a doe...
Anyways here they are enjoying the fall windy weather.
