I have been reading forums from the backyard chickens website for almost a year now and finally decided to make my own account. In April of 2021 we welcomed our first flock--four Barred Rock pullets and two female Khaki Campbell ducklings. We raised all six of them in the same brooder and they have been the best of friends ever since. In December we lost Moonee, our largest and most adventurous hen, to the neighbor's dog.
