Arran nodded vigorously and smiled nicely at her. She pointed to Angela and made a flapping bird with her hands, then touched her heart. She sighed wishful.

Ericsson looked around, trying to figure out how to help her. He finally just went with impulse. He slowly walked over to her and knelt down beside her. He reached out with a shaking hand and softly stroked her back. Then gently did it again.

Anna stood and looked at him then shook her head a little "Not from here, just in case" She said, not wanting a trace to his home if they had done the opposite and left someone there to watch.

Angela tilted her head and frowned a little "You want to fly?" She asked, that was the only thing she could understand from that.

Star drew in a shaky breath at the first touch then after the second, she turned to him, hiding her face against his side until the worst of this passed. Too much had happened in too short a time for her to fight it and the memories also, When she had finished, she felt drained but better though she didn't move away from him.

Zypher smiled at her. "That's why no landlines and I use a burner phone. It's untraceable." He then looked around for it. But couldn't remember what he'd...he than remembered he put his clothes in the bathroom because they were bloody. He then walked in and found it in his pocket. He brought it back to her and handed it over.

Anna smiled at him again "We do not have phones except at the hotel." She said then looked at the phone to dial and wait for an answer that didn't come.

"Oh" Angela said and blushed lightly, though with her coloring it showed up easily. "It's just that's what those others said, that you people want our shifting ability. It's not something that can be given to another, ever since the witch died, you can only get it by being born in the forest, that's the way the spell works, but now the forest is gone"

Star pulled away after a while and wiped her face but didn't try to get up yet, or look at him. She just stared at the floor, waiting.
