I was going to be tested to be a bone morrow donor....I do not meet all the criteria, and I just got a clean bill of health! They base it on the age of the donor, the overall health of the donor. Not everyone who needs a transplant get one. Your uncle's own health will be the determing factor if he is even put on the transplant list. I wish the best for your family!
