Hmm...DH found a rubberband INSIDE an egg! PIC ADDED to post #22!

Any chance it was already in the skillet when he cracked the egg into it? Did he put some grease, oil, butter in the pan first? Maybe that's the culprit. Or, as I think an earlier post might have suggested, maybe it was stuck to the underside of the spatula and went unnoticed.

wow! every once in awhile one of these threads makes you laugh so hard you consider running to the bathroom!!!!

Yep, same reason you dont find tape worms inside eggs. What are people thinking, what next corn found in a egg.........

That like a woman swallowing a ball for the baby to play with when its in the womb.............

Well, if it's a rubber band, it didn't come out of the egg.

I'm believing in the 'stuck to the spatula theory' and "sticking" with it.

I don't even think there is a one in a million chance.

No, he was frying the egg, so when he cracked the egg into the skillet (to fry it), it was the white part of the egg (that was not yet white...but I explained it that way to say it wasn't in the yolk). He pulled the rubber band out and continued to fry his eggs to make his sandwich.

As for pulling me leg...not this time. He isn't good at keeping a straight face and this one he was truly wondering how the band got in there.

On her tail and the roo kinda accidentally bumped it inward when he was doing his thing?

As for the rooster size issue...
