Hi,

Just looking for some help about my bubs. They are 26 weeks old, they have a brother (Pea) from the same clutch who is pretty much sexually developed, his mulberry comb is massive, he crows and he rules with an iron fist over his siblings aha. I'm confused about the other two due to difference of appearance and behaviour to their brother.
One of them has a single comb from a throwback
First three pictures are the two ones I'm confused about, last two pictures are the rooster named Pea.

Can supply more photos if need be.

Any suggestions would be amazing, thank you x

Yes the comb is small and the body and crest shape are definitely girly!
You may have to wait a bit longer for eggs. Average laying age for silkies is 7-9 months.

Regarding the single comb. My cockerel has a single comb, he comes from a breeder pen of 10 plus generations of silkies. So you never know when this trait will show up. He is otherwise perfect in everyway.

I don't see any streamers, and the comb is pretty small! But as I said, not the best at silkies , I tend to have a hard time spoting the streamers. But no matter how hard I look I don't see them. Pretty positive they are girlies.

Found a photo showing my boys comb so you can see what a single comb in a cockerel would look like in a silkie at this age. He is 28 weeks old.
