Whatever it is - it seems to be crystallized on the shell. I read that anything seeping signals a bad egg, so I gently pulled it out and put it in a bag. Do you think it’s bad? It’s too light outside to get a good candle right now. This is egg #9.
Hmm. Pulling was probably a good idea. Is there a closet in your house you could use to take a peak inside that egg? Does it have any sort of bad odor?

I haven't candled any eggs that are seeping, but the rotten eggs I have seen are filled with a green swirling gas/liquid that fills the entire shell, including where the air cell would be.

Ok I took some pictures under a blanket with the black paper and night mode (thank you for those tips!) It doesn’t smell, but the egg doesn’t look developed enough for day 14 to me? What do you think?

🤢 That sounds really gross lol. 😬

Ok lol thank you! Bye bye #9 😢.

Now, should I crack it open to educate the kids? Or is that not something we want to see? 😬

I don't think the Day 14 candle is looking good. 😞

I would keep any that you can tell are alive, plus the questionable ones. Pull out the ones you know aren’t alive. I would keep 4, 6, 10, and 12.
Thank you! That’s very helpful. I couldn’t tell if any were alive…
