Thank you all VERY much. I really enjoy doing these. I have been making basket out of pine needles for years but I really think that I like working with the horsehair so much better.

peewee, those are just beautiful! How do you make them? Do you have to use long, even pieces from the tail, or could you use shorter pieces, like from trimming a bridlepath? My friend has several horses and I'm very intrigued about making some!
