Horse hair basket.... kinda proud of this one.

A friend let me take a small hank of hair off of one of her horses tail and I made this little basket out of it. It was only my second horsehair basket that I have made (the first will never be shown -what a learning experience

) and I am really kinda happy how it turned out.

Oh my goodness! You should be happy! That is beautiful! I didn't know that was done with horse hair...straw, yes, yarn yes, but horse hair? Probably been around for a while, and I just haven't ever seen it done before. Thanks for sharing!
