How big should my pop-door be?

Hello,
I am building my first coop from scratch, any information I've needed, I found here with no problem. Except the size the pop-door should be. I would also be interesed in ideas to build a basic pop-door with a pully system.

Should be big enough that your girls can get through it by ducking their head a bit.

I think mine is 11"wide x 13" tall. There's really no set size for a pop door as long as it's large enough for them to comfortably fit through it. So it kind of depends on whether you're getting basic large fowl, bantams, or big birds like JGs. I have an auto door now, but here's a pic of the pulley system door I started out with. It was mounted inside (obviously...lol). The cable in the pic ran through a bit of rubber tubing shoved through a hole we drilled through the wall, so that we could open/close the door from outside.

We used a metal track for our (lexan) door to slide through, but a wooden track would work just as well.
