Manna pro poultry protector.

It is ineffective.

You need permethrin as the active ingredient.

I use this....
It has mixing instructions. Treat once a week for 3 weeks and clean EVERYTHING out of the coop then spray the coop as well. Yes clear the coop EVERY time you treat the birds and do the coop each time too.

So I would spray my hens once a week, along with the henhouse?

Did you also fully remove/burn all bedding and spray their henhouse with something like Permethrin for lice?
I haven’t tried permethrin…I thought maybe applying DE with the spray daily would work

Yes.

You need to be diligent in treating both the birds and the housing every week to get rid of those nasty things.

DE does not work.
Okay I understand.

Would it help get rid of the lice quicker to spray my hens every day? Or would that be overusing the permethrin?

Also, do my hens look like they are lice afflicted to you, or that they have something else going on? Is that why they look like the poster pics?

I hope it is just lice

Have you done a physical exam to confirm the lice?

You need to look at feather shafts next to the skin for egg clumps as well as look for actual bugs on the skin.
