How Did You Discover BYC?

You can't google anything about chickens without BYC being in the first 3 responses! That is how I came across it.

My son Will had been bugging me about getting chickens since Christmas, and so I thought I would finally just do some research, and see what we might be getting into.. so I went to good old Google, and serched for "How to Raise Chickens" and up popped about a million posts from BYC! I have been addicted every since. My son calls it "MySpace for chicken people"

I was reading the replies to this thread and looking at the numbers of posts people have (some are over 1000). These same people were talking about getting chickens a few months or a few weeks ago! Then I realized this thread is almost a year old! What a big difference this forum has made to so many chickens!!! Some of the newbies back then are the old timers now!!!

I was on TractorByNet (TBN), BYC was linked to a post.
TBN is great site to find out about compact/utility tractors and equipment, would fit in with most folks life on BYC
