How do you call your chickens

I hope you have free in-network calls!! Very funny!

We use several variations seen on here. The old hens won't come for anything! We got them as adolescents and apparently no imprinting. The others respond to ANY MOVEMENT in the yard. My chicks I hatched respond best to "Here peeps!", but every one but the oldsters will converge when we walk out the door. No calling needed!

well as soon as they see me they run to me and want treats!!!!!!! What i do when i need to round them up is get two branches and kinda herd them to there pen!!!!! But when i call them i just say "here babies" and they come running!!!! They can run fast too!!!!

I just say Hey there baby kids! kinda in a baby talk way!
They all come running so I guess they don't mind. Though my Honeycomb thinks it all about him! LOL

I open my back door, and about 60+ come running at full force. When I am going to gather eggs with a basket they think i have food for them, I have to dump it upside down and show them there is nothing in the basket, then they shuffle away disappointed.

my grandson calls the rooster a GOOSTER hes 3 and cant say r's real good yet so he has me calling him a GOOSTER when i talk to people they look at me in amazement like i have somehing unique and say may i ask what a GOOSTER is i lol and tell them.
the goosters are my grandsons alarm clock he wont get outta bed until the gooster wakes him up.

I only have babies they usually run to the opposite side of the brooder until I stand there for a wile. Except for my little RIR roo he runs at me and looks at me with a "wassup" look on his face. I sometimes do click, the same way you would at a horse and that calms them and they stop peeping for a wile.
