How heavy is your egg?

Egg sizes are usually determined by weighing a whole dozen of simular eggs. The following chart is the avg per egg, based on the doz/weight chart.
Size Minimum mass per egg
Colossal 85 g
Huge 77 g
Jumbo 70 g
Extra Large 63 g
Large 56 g
Medium 49 g
Small 42 g
Pee Wee 35 g
And if I remember right, down in Australia, they call the Huge and Colossal, King and Mega respectively. Maybe some one from Down Under can correct me if I'm remembering it wrong.

So, what do the eggs over 85 g qualify for? Ostrich?! :gig

My BPR lays in the 80-90 range. They dwarf my other eggs. I worry about her, but she hasn't missed a day. They are big, light brown eggs with spots that border on purple.

And, yes, I have provisions on hand in case of prolapse, too.

Not great pics, but you get the idea. The scale shows about 90 gms, but it's a weird angle.

I weigh all of my eggs in grams.
Jumbo - Greater than 2.5 oz. or 70 g or >
Extra-Large (XL) - Greater than 2.25 oz. or 64-69 g
Large (L) - Greater than 2 oz. or 56-63 g
Medium (M) - Greater than 1.75 oz. or 49-55 g
Small (S) - Greater than 1.5 oz. or 42-48 g
Peewee - Greater than 1.25 oz. or < 42 g
My Leghorns lay very large eggs too. This is one of my largest eggs at 185 grams. Not sure if it was laid by a RIR or RIW since I have both in that coop. It was an egg inside an egg and they were both double yolk.
