I know, those birds have some nerve! I never would have done it if I thought there was any chance of one of my chicks getting hurtThats what I get worried about. I make my partner stand with me when I let my chicks out. We are about to hit spring too mating season. So all the wildlife is out and about. I haven't been swooped by a magpie yet but I feel its coming.
Oh well thank you.It never occurred to me that our journey was anything special. Lol
What part of the journey would you like to read about?
My advice is just read as much as you can about chicks before you get them. I didnt and I lost 2 and had to cull one. When I bought them they had this yolk infection that I had no idea about. It was heart breaking and now im turned off the idea of chicks again.

I would love to read about the animals you have, the predators you have to prevent, the things you face with your farm life and how you over come them. New babies. Things like that. Think its very interesting.
