How many birds are in your current flock?

I started with 6 from TSC
3 Black Australorps (2 turned out to be male)
1 RIR
1NHR (maybe)
1 unknown (culled for severe deformities)

4 months later I got 4 from a local guy
2 EEs
1 gray silkie
1 Appenzeller spitzhauben

I then lost 1 EE to a predator.a favorite.
And last weekend adopted a 2 year old rescue EE

So now we have 9.
Two are currently paying rent.

We currently have 6, 1 BR/1 Australorp/ 1 Golden Comet/ 1 RIR/ 1 Delaware & 1 White BR.

Started out with 4, well was only suppose to get 3 from the co-op but they had a breed I wanted so I came home with 4. After the coop/run was finished (we went bigger than what was needed on coop/run just to be safe) my hubby made the mistake of saying "ya know we could add 2 more if we wanted" :clap so after a day or so of contemplation we decided to add 1 more.....big mistake....she was lonely and it broke my heart to see her all by herself in the doggie crate so after a few days of contemplation :plbb we got our last one.......that's my story and I'm sticking to it :celebrate

Hoping all goes well! My last broody hen raised her chicks just fine within our flock from day 1, it would be lovely for that to happen again with this one!

:love

I checked on mine, none hatched yet, but the girls played a little musical eggs with these, so I’m not surprised they may be a little late.
