How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

We got about 4 inches of snow. Shoveled half of chicken pen. Started at gate, only made it half way to coop and 1 girl couldn't wait, she flew about 10 feet towards me. She just wanted out. The other girls waited till I Shoveled up to the door.
If you've read my previous posts, you know my girls don't like to walk on snow.

Can an australorp be used to make an olive egger?

not sure. I know it's a blue layer (EE or amerecauna) plus a brown layer...I was gonna do my BCM+EE to get olive eggers. I want them next time in our flock for sure.

Even though we got 13 eggs from coop girls (+2 GLW girls), there are still 10 girls in the coop NOT laid today- including 2 EE.
I know there will be more today, just trying to figure who is not laying yet (new normal is 18. We have total of 26 will be laying).

Yesterday I had 12 of 13. 8 so far today, but almost always have 2 or 3 at about 5pm

24 today. Collected 645 for January from 32 layers. A couple girls are getting up in age and aren't expected to produce anymore. They are just pets now.

Got my first egg from my waterfowl pen. I don't know if it is a duck or goose egg!
But I got 25 out of 38 chicken eggs
And I gathered 424 eggs for the month of January!! Now I need all 157 birds to start laying! Lol

7/9+2....and one 1/2 deflated soft shell mess hanging off roost. Hope it's my olive egger learning to lay!
