How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

17 Eggs Today, I got 2 more hens go broody since yesterday that’s #9 & 10 this year.

Never had this before, my henhouse with new layers, broody hens, molting hens, multiple roos, new chicks from 2 wks old to 3 month olds. What a full house!

That must be quite the henhouse!

I got 7 eggs again today. There are ten birds in the coop, and one still in isolation. That one hasn't laid an egg since at least Saturday.

had to change feed here was using start up natural seed woods hay and grain they bought a pelletizer my birds are not happy and I have not been out there in 3 days
with pneumonia

2 eggs today. First large size egg from my speckled Sussex and a small one from who knows...only this one is different shade brown and smaller then the pervious ones I have collected... possibly new layer. Didn't keep them cooped up as long as I would of liked today as one ran out on me then all hell broke lose cause "why does she get to be out and we don't" squawking. And of course the buff that broke out I couldn't catch so I just open the flood gates and told them to have a nice day

Can you see the yolk when you candle an egg? I wanna see it those big ones are double yolkers. I tried holding a flashlight to it but i dont see it

Step in a dark closet light the pointy end pointing down .. but honestly we do not see yolks we see veining if the egg is fertile so your first thought is do you want to hatch? or do you have cockerel or rooster?

So yes you have a boy and at least one girl (no matter ages that way) have you bought a incubator ? now below a year a male is cockerel then becomes a rooster at 1, a girl is a pullet till 1 then becomes a hen.. how old is the egg? may not have been veining

I should have said henhouses, since I got 2 big ones, but getting crowded soon since babies growing up fast.
