How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

4 for 4 after several 3 banger days. Not sure if it's a genuine 3 banger or if one was hiding eggs somewhere on me since I was letting them free range pretty much all last week. Caught her once, trying to break that habit real fast.

All 4 of my ducks are laying now. I however seem to have a night time/early early layer. I’m getting 1 frozen solid egg the last couple mornings.

Last night I went & checked at midnight before I went to bed & nothing. Sooo it’s got to be at 4 or so I’m thinking. Temps have been -15c to -25 through the nights.

That is COLD!!!

She will be such an entitled mom! With entitled ducklings! You should start to safe money for the tons of mealworms they'll demand!

I have to admit that I’ve been letting Matilda and Puddles build up a little nest over the past few days. They were getting upset about my egg-stealing ways, and we’ve been getting along so well! I’m surprised the Muscovies haven’t taken over the nest to brood. I guess they can’t go broody if they’re not yet laying for the season. Or can they?

No experience with Muscovies, but i have heart that they are born broody!?

What's laying red eggs. I got one that is laying kind of pink eggs, sort of a pinkish brown maybe...
