How many seasons will geese hatch eggs.

so I just bought a female buff goose for my male Toulouse goose. She is two years old. Will she still have babies next year. If so how many more years will she want to have babies.

Geese can get really old, up to about 40 years. The geese I've heard of kept laying until they were at least 10-15 years old. One even claimed 25.

Wow. Can they still hatch their eggs at 10 to 15 years old.

Like The goose girl stated, geese can live a long time. And truly they actually are in their prime from 3-8 years old. After that they will still lay and set but usually not on as many eggs. May be 3-5 where they may have set 8-12 in past years.

I had a pair of Africans years ago, George and Trudy, that the male was 17 and the female was 23 when they died. The male died 3 years before the female so she would have been 20 when he died. She laid and hatched every year until he died. And after he died she never laid again and never took another mate. I really I had a picture of them, the were a great pair.
