How much do you sell braided rag rugs for?

Here you are:

Here is the rug I made for my bro

Here are the cords that I have started for the "Harley rug" though the strands with orange are interspersed with solid black rows. From experience with the MSU rug above, even though it is a 2:1 ratio of green to white, the visual effect is more 50/50

oooooooooooh

I would pay for one. Whenever you think you can put it together, I would even send cash for supplies. Want white with brown or multicolor.

Can you throw them in the washer and dryer?

They're made of cotton, so while they wouldn't be as durable as wool rugs, but they could be washed and dried.

I have some old white clothes right now, but I'll have to get some other colors. PM me and let me know exactly what you'd like

Wow!! Absolutely beautiful!

I don't know how much time it takes to make one, but given the current economic status, if I was just a joe schmo walking around a craft fair, or something of that sort and saw those, I know I would pay at least $30 for the smaller size one. If there was a 4x6 rug I would pay up to $50. I don't know if that helps or disappoints, but that my HONEST opinion on what I would pay. Money is tight these days.

But that is such an awesome craft to do

-- I hope you the best in that! Way to recycle!! I remember those being in my grandma's house...now we're left with these crappy factory made pieces of crap that get unraveled in the sweeper. Ugghh!! I think you could definitely sell those! Wish I had some...I've always loved the way they felt on my bare feet...

Hey, braided rugs are very famous rugs for their elegant designs. The hand knotted braided rugs are simply superb. If you think ever of purchasing a rug, do not see money for it. It might be a bit costlier than area rugs but they are worth a lot. They can be even available starting from 50$ . So you can definitely look for it.

Hi all, if you choose not to braid round or oval rugs, you can always use what is called a rake loom. I am a 4th generation weaver using old fashioned floor looms, but I use a rake loom for making rectangular braided rugs. Good luck with your endeavor.
