How much food should I feed me ducks a day?

How much food should I feed my ducks a day? I can't just let them eat all day because my female got really fat because I used to do that. I was told around 1/3 of a pound per bird per day.

I have a male Cayuga/Indian Runner mix and a female Cayuga. And they are both full-grown.

I feed my 33 birds one pail of scratch and one pail of feed and they seem fine when I come in to feed them the next day and sometimes there is still a cup or so of feed still in the feed buckets.

I think I heard the general rule is 1- 1 1/2 cups of feed per bird. But I have been judging by how my birds have been acting and if they act like they need more or if there is a lot left the next day I give them less.

My chickens are still filling out and the ducks are looking good. If they are looking too fat they will get less. Oh and I also have the water a ways a way from the food so the ducks have to walk back and forth.
