Its illegal in most states to relocate. I would call your local game warden and ask them what options you have. But as stated before, .22 or a 410 works pretty well.Ok i won’t kill him I’ll try to trap and relocate him
Thank you can you also tell me some info and spacing requirements for guard/farm dogs and some breeds. I also have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel but he stays indoors at night. I will also do my own researchHi, sorry for your loss. I would consider a hurding dog. Puppy of course. How about borrowing a live trap? We have used ours every year for something. If you have foxes you'll have possums and racoons. All night time marauders. The trick with a live trap is to cover it. Make it look like a SQUARE TUNNEL. If they can "see" through it, they feel less traped and will find the way in. The oder of the bate will travel through the tunnel and only one end is open, the trap door. I drap the tarp (or what ever I using) to drape over the trap door so from across the yard can tell if its been set off. Foxes have their place too just not MY YARD.
