How to raise 1 day chicks in a coop without electricty and without broody hen.Any ideas?

x 2 on extension cord, otherwise you could look into a small solar panel that could power a heat pad for a Momma Heating Pad (MHP) - lots of examples on this site. Otherwise I would raise them near a power source for the first couple weeks (shed? garage? back porch?)

Is there a limit of how many threads you create in a week or something . cuz i m not able create a new thread. Also which breed is the best breeds are best for brooding and for dual purpose? I really appreciate your ideas on the chicks brooder.

Wyandotte bramha or orpingtons

Back in my snowboarding days we used to use 8 hour heat packs that would hover around 105 degrees or so. Keeping one or two of those in a covered area might do the trick for 6-8 hours. Just be careful some of those heat packs get pretty hot.
This is a great idea.
I couldn't imagine not having some kind of heat source for them.
Mine stopped using the heat plate around 4 weeks old.i also raised them in their coop here in Nor Ca. The lows were just around 65 degree.
