the chicks like a feather duster and they can stay huddled under the feathers to use each others body heat.

Also, a hot water battle does really well when you think it’s too cool.

I cobbled together one during a power issue last year. It’s the top of a plastic linen basket for the frame - foil to retain heat and a couple of fleece tops. I cut a towel into strips and hung them from the linen basket frame

i reason why i m asking this is because i m not able to raise chicks indoors and i dont have broody hen as well and plus not even able to use those electric brooder for chicks as there is no electricty availible nearby.

Where in the UK are you that doesn't have an electricity supply?

I've had success using older chicks. 3 week old chicks, 2 3wk olds to 1 1day old. They all huddle as needed.

LOL i meant i got a place in backyard big huge place 1 acres buh no electricy availible
