Oh, of course, I really don't have choice. No really good place to relocate to that insures he doesn't come back. He took up almost an entire trap designed for Med-large animals!

Okay, off topic. Last night we caught a hugh white possum in our HAH trap. Black ears, and no red eyes. Very large male, have never seen one like this before. He is truely white, not the normal grayish white and his legs and feet are white, just the ears are black. Anyone seen one like him? Is he a certain type of possum?

Wish I could post a pic of him, he is really something to see. Would also like to know if he is a type of possum or just born odd. Haven't figured out how to post pics from phone.

(not my picture; I found it on a google search)
Other than to say that there apparently is a certain amount of variability possible in the color of the opossum (reddish brown also happens sometimes), I know nothing about this.
As for the sore muscles - they should be rested. Any good exercise program includes rest days for repair and recovery; you can actually lose muscle if you keep pushing day after day (or so they tell me). But if you are sore from laughing so much, well, you realize you're coming to the wrong place if you expect a break from that, right?
Probably a mutation although there are white possum in Australia that have more hair on their tails.
