btw, this is the best pumpkin for canning. You can use a potato peeler to take off the skin and then it's easy to cut up into chunks...

I used special tools to peel my pumpkin..ten of them!

first two pictures we had to chop our way out with machetes because 911 and none else would help. we couldnt get the car out either without chopping and hoping that those trees didnt fall on us or the car. we also had to chop the trees off the front of the house which took a week because the government didnt want to help either.

Beat's the heck out of trying to get daughter to prepare for 2pm matinee, find a steak resturant that will seat us after 10pm, figure out when to pick up BF for 7pm show. Oh and I would love to take a bath and get ready myself, so I don't look like I just came from a chicken coop!! LOL Wish I was cooking pumpkin instead.

I'm thinking a food processor would make my kitchen work much easier right about now.
This is the only time of year I think about getting one.
I might just have to finally break down and get one, especially if I ever plan on learning to bake huh?
