Kiki, I'm so glad TV and Internet have returned. Still looking for second video

Ursuline, Have you bee to Belgian? It's a beautiful place. As for your sister's goals, I prioritized what kinds of disasters I didn't want to encounter, Namely tidal waves, earth quakes, and hurricanes... I can manage the rest, so that's why I'm here. Turns out my mountains seem to keep the tornado's out which is kind of cool. And for what its worth, you're not rambling... I saw the same things you're talking about in Alexandria after we got 17" of rain in 12 hours, and again for Sandy.

Are all of our TX/LA folks accounted for and safe? I've been away at a 4H thing.

Hey, Kiki, want me to see if the Cajun Air Force can air drop you TP or do you have that under control?
I'm A OK again!
The roads near me are no longer flooded.
SOME parts of north side of Houston and the west side are still flooded.
Thank gosh DH's job is NOT located on either of those sides! :yesss:

No, never really been out of the country, Mexico, but I am not sure that really counts. LOL Have never had a passport. And I am 60. Pretty sad. LOL

DH is going to work, OMG. He is really dedicated! Glad things are going better.
:fl:fl

I'd hate to see people who Can get to work not go. That wouldn't help them in the long run.
I am already seeing people take advantage of all the "free" stuff being offered.
It's a shame.

Yes, sadly you will see lots of greed. These things always bring out the best and worst in people. Luckly, usually more good than bad.

So glad to hear from folks from Texas and Louisiana...glad they are okay and preparing for the long road ahead....

I'm not sure that a disaster free zone even exists...
Tornadoes here in Oklahoma and earthquakes have become too numerous to count. We have areas where all that was left was the concrete slabs. Stories of insurance battles abound...

Proud that so many people are stepping forward to extend a helping hand.
