Nope, but he went home anyway. I like the peacock but he harasses the crap out of my chickens. Usually the man who owns him will come get him but i called and he wasn't home. I'm glad I took him home though, man's gate was open the peahens were still in there. He's already lost one peacock to the road. And you're right peacocks are really, really strong.
Glad he didn't go for the eyeball!

Peacocks appear to be very strong. Imagine the muscles needed to power such a large bird in flight. You taking him home didn't fit with his plans?

Belly fat.:(

:smack

Reminds me of a story, when my DH and I first started dating. he brought me to see a piglet that he and a friend had captured in the woods and raise to a full grown hog. The pig was in a large pen, DH began to climb into the pen, stating that the pig knew him and it would be ok. The pig lunged for DH's most tender parts with teeth bared. I have never seen a man jump over a fence that quickly. :lau:lau

Ha! Pigs are something else again, I've delt with one when I lived in Marietta luckily it turned out good. I led it into the old stye if i petted the old pig he'd walk if i stopped he'd stop. Boyfriend at the time was terrified "was before hubby ".I didn't think about how dangerous that was, i was very lucky. :)

It was my own fault, i was going to just pick him up like a chicken, he didn't appreciate that one little bit. All i was trying to do was take the dummy home.
:hugs still hurts

LOL - alligators bite. So do pigs. In that case, a pig will chase you down and eat you. Should we start a list?

If it has a mouth, it will bite you if you pick it up. And so will some things without a mouth. And don't kiss an octopus.
you speak from experience??

Morning Liz!
Nope. Seen their mouth (beak). If it can crack shells, I'm not going near it.
You must have wonderful google-fu or spend a lot of time searching the net.

We have a severe weather alert for this weekend. It MAY get into the 30's! I'll have to cover the tomatoes and zucchini in case of frost. We may even start a fire!

I can imagine all the pullets crowded around the fire trying to keep warm. Their little beaks chattering with cold. Poor girls!
