I know for a fact that he will not crow when he is in the freezer or with mashed potatoes and gravy . Try to rehome him first , and if that doesn't work there's always chicken soup . But no on the de crowing . I do capons but that has a different purpose making an meat bird that would other wise be culled into a tasty low budget meal .

Understand that it is a difficult procedure with a high mortality rate. Might be better to find a new home for him where he can be a 'rooster'.
