I am so excited!

I've already taken full advantage of all the knowledge here at BYC and picked everyone's brains in various threads, but thought I'd formally introduce myself.

My new chicks are arriving early next week from MPC, and I'm so excited! I'm going to TSC this weekend to figure out some type of brooder, get a lamp, get some starter feed, etc. Yay!!

My husband thinks I'm obsessed. lol

Anyway, short intro to me, these are my first chicks ever. I'm getting 4 standards. I have a husband, 2 kids, a dog and a cat. We live right on the Mason-Dixon line in western MD.

Welcome!!! I'm new here too! I am married to the most wonderful man! We have 5 amazing children, 4 girls ages 12, 8, 7, 6~ 1 boy age 5! We have 1 pomeranian named Harper who drives us crazy but we love her, an amazing cat named Oliver who has formed a strange & loving bond with our baby chicks already & we live in Middle Tennessee! I am a Photographer/Work at home mommy (there is no such thing as a stay at home mommy in my book, I work my butt off lol)~

I too just bought my first chicks we now have 4 silkies
