I Am So Mad!!!!!!!cruddy Neighbors!!!

I agree with everything already said. You absolutely need to call animal control and/or the police. Do *NOT* take any chances. A lab can kill a person. Once a dog has started attacking people, it needs to be put down in my opinion. Do not risk letting someone become seriously injured.

Animal bites are puncture wounds made by sharp teeth
full of bacteria. Puncture wounds heal from the outside
to the inside trapping in the bacteria. Nasty infections
can result. An infection not properly treated can become
septic. Sepsis can kill.

Rabies is a dangerous disease. Is the dog properly
vacinated?

I would be more concerned about the bite victims and potential bite victims than I would about being a "nice"
neighbor.

I agree with everyone else. This wasn't a warning attack or one that was provoked, this was a true attack. If you don't report it, it won't go on record and you are allowing the dog more opportunity to harm someone else and next time it could be even more serious. This isn't the time to let it slide for the sake of neighborly consideration or concern for the dog, this is the time to take action and report it to animal control.

What would have happened to your little brother if he had fallen off the bike instead of being able to pedal and get away? That dog could have killed him, and may do so next time!!!!!!!

Please call animal control and the police, as others have said. I love dogs, but also agree that a dog that attacks humans is not a dog to have around. Way, way too dangerous. I hear on the news all the time about people being attacked and sometimes killed by dogs. Don't be another statistic. Take care of it while you still can.

In the state of South Carolina, all dog bites must be reported, it's the law. And a darned good one, too!

Of course it's also a law that dogs not be allowed to run loose.

And I still have the scars from a Dalmation attacking me.

This dog has bitten people twice....not once. the dog needs to be put down since it obviously has always had issues and is not been properly raised to interact with people and is a danger to anyone passing by

You cannot let this slide. The dog has attacked not once but twice. Don't let there be a third time because of your inaction.

I agree with everyone else, DO NOT LET THIS SLIDE! It has bitten 2 people in one day that were minding there own business. This is a vicious dog, no matter what it looks like any other time. It could be a small child next time and it could be a death or severe mauling instead of "just puncture wounds". This is serious. If my dogs EVER bit someone like that, they would be disciplined with in an inch of their life and serious thought would be put into what to do about the dog pending the situation. These people need a wake up call!
