I Am So Mad!!!!!!!cruddy Neighbors!!!

Please report it both to the police & animal control!

My brother in law has a permanent (bad) facial scar and glass tear duct from their neighbor's dog turning one day and biting his face (a dog they had lived next door to for years).

Next time the attacked child may not get off so luckily.

I agree with everyone else. For your families safety you should report it. this dog could be on the news one day for seriously hurting someone. Please help avoid that just as if it was a person hurting someone else it needs to be dealt with before it gets worse. Please keep us posted.

YOU MUST MAKE CERTAIN IT HASN'T GOT RABIES.

I hate all caps, and yet, having been through rabies treatment because of a bite from an animal that couldn't be verified as vaccinated, I feel the need to yell.

Also, only one person is documented to have survived a rabies attack past immediate treatment- what I mean is, when not treated immediately in a preventative manner, rabies is always fatal.

Get the authorities in to do their jobs, and don't break the law to protect a dog that is likely beyond being fixed. This isn't anyone's call but the authorities'.

Call and report it NOW. You counting to three strikes doesn't mean anything to the authorities (and maybe two other neighbors on the other side have already reported it and you'd be #3). You have to have it documented and they have to prove it's up to date on it's shots. Call. Really.

Correct. Both your brother and mother would DIE. Do you really want to assume that people like this are responsible enough to make sure the rabies shots are up to date?

no way in God's creation would I let that neighbors dog slide on this. Call the cops, call the AC. Both. Now. Get pics of everything. Brother's hand and mom's butt. It might be harder totake the pic of mom, she won't be all that agreeable.

My friends Mom had gotten bit in the INSIDE of her upper thigh. Lemme tell ya, that was an embarassing pic for both my friend and her mom. But it had to be taken. The hospital did it. I am sure if you take brother and Mom in to the hosital, they eill get the appropriate care, preventive shots...and bill the idiot neighbors, take em to court if ya have to.

Do report this event not just for your own safety and that of others, but for the dog's sake as well. S/he is in dire need of training, and though others may disagree with me, it may NOT be too late. If nothing is done, it will definitely be too late and she may end up being killed because no one took the time or initiative to properly train her. She may be highly stressed and attacking out of fear, territory aggression, or other triggers, but if trained she may become a loving and calm pet. She needs the chance she MAY get IF this is reported and the owners are required to acknowledge & respond to what has happened. Good luck to you, I hope your mom & brother heal completely and uneventfully, and I hope the dog can be rescued and trained properly.

You need to report this. The next time the dog attacks your brother (and there WILL be a next time!) it will be a lot more serious.

You don't want that on your conscious.

The fact that the neighbors just stood there and watched your mom getting attacked...there is something really really wrong with them.

Please call animal control and have them handle this.

Please report it to AC
The dog is a proven biter, and is a huge liability for your neighboors and you

They will ask for the vet records from the vet, if those arent present then the dog is put in quantee for 2 weeks and the tested for rabies (they dont get the back alive).
