This is my bulb I am using I am just so scared of over heating themIf a chick is upset or “distressed” will let out a loud, ear piercing peep to let you know. Some chicks are quieter than others, consider it a blessing!
The food you are feeding is fine, and as long as you start the brooder temperature at 90* F and decrease by 5* F each weeks they should do great!
You’re brooder is acceptable, but if you want to liven it up you can add a mirror, some sticks to perch on, some fluffy pompoms or cat toys to play with (big enough so they can’t eat them) or dome weeds to peck st and eat. Make sure to provide grit if you give them any food that is not their starter.
