I think it's a cute cut. Do try playing with gel and mousse just to see what you can make it do. But it's adorable just like it is!

DD #1 had the haircut in the picture, it's EMO she says. Do you have a flat iron? She would flip the edges of the sides and back up.

Honestly, I like the haircut, I like how it frames your face and accents your eyes. (Sorry, stepdad is a barber and I grew up looking at this stuff)

Wife will forgive me for giving honest opinion. She knows I love her to pieces.

It does highlight your eyes and face a bit, get some gels and spray and work with it, with your face being front and center now, you'll want to find some lipstick and shadow to highlight that.

I would try poofing up the back a bit and using a flat iron in the front, curl it under your chin.

I think it's cute. It will be pretty easy to fix. Try getting a huge round brush and blowing it dry. That would be cute.

It is nothing like you showed her though. There is some serious length to the cut you wanted. I think she got a little scissor happy. I hate it when they don't listen to you and give you something you didn't ask for.

Hmm, you look young, but it could be the cut. I'd say to try out golds, peaches and taupes to go with your natrual coloring, you've lovely skin, and this length really shows off the depth of your eye color.

It's going to be okay. The good thing about hair is that it will grow right back out. Besides, it really doesn't look bad and I think if you load it with styling products and style it the way you want it styled, you'll start to like it for the summer. Right now you're still reeling from the shock.
