She is having the woman who is ordering for us raise her chicks until they're 8 weeks old. She wants nothing to do with the chicks!

Just wondering if any of you other addicts go on a trip and see a chicken coop and shout "Chickens! I wonder what breeds they have..." and try to make an excuse to meet new chicken people. I have tried it many times, mom never lets me. Or like today at Walmart, we were walking along and saw something with a chicken on it out of the corner of my eye. I stopped instantly and went to look, it was a cool seat cushion for a kitchen table. I just have to keep saying "I'm not addicted, I do not have a problem."

Every where we go I'll be scoping peoples yards out looking for sheds and buildings and when i see one I'll tell Dh how that would make a darling coop, he just rolls his eyes.

normally the "I'm worried about you types" are trying to detract from their own problems (likely some sort of depression). in reality, your average person doesnt give a poop how many chicks are in your coop. i say knock yourself out.
