Unless its your camera flash, they dont look like blacks either. The look like dark blues.

they look blue to me too... and shame on ANY breeder that charges good $... PLUS shipping for single combed NOT black birds. I am hoping the flash washed out the color, otherwise I would ask that she refund you both the price and shipping costs and either pay to have them shipped back at her cost, or relinquish rights to them so you could unload them.

They look like blues, not blacks. The single comb is noticible when you pull her crest back, but not without that. I can see how it might be missed. Give the seller the benefit of the doubt, but do email the photo to her and see what she has to say. Do you mind if we ask what you paid for the birds?

Can you post a photo of the cracked beak? In general, I would say you probably ought to superglue it to prevent further breakage.

In general, the birds in the group photos look nice; how many birds did you purchase?
