Feedback I Have An "Issue"..

I read it as post the link to the thread after you request a response and they reply to the response.

To show that asking for an update actually works.

Ok so I just realized something. If your trying to get a response from someone to see the outcome you might want to click on their username to see when the last time they were active bc some people only are active when they have a question. So I just found a thread about a sick chicken and I asked what was the out come and if any advice helped.
Heres the link: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/sick-chicken-this-morning.1263221/page-2

Both people responded for me with updates!
Both of the threads you linked were started last month. Very likely to get updates on recent threads.

I believe this is about old or older threads. Think months or actually YEARS old.

I think we want to do both, To see how big of an issue this is and also track how many respond to our request as opposed to those who don't. If we only track the ones that respond then it wouldn't give us a accurate sense of how effective the "Please Update" button would be. Does that make sense?

I don't think it necessary has to be a super old thread, most things are resolved in just a matter of days or weeks. The point is to see if an update request would actually generate an update. If enough time has gone by for an outcome then an update request would be reasonable.
