I know I JUST had you guys help solve a crisis but LOOK AT THIS , help please

Actually I bought the parents from another farm and hatched him myself from their eggs. But yes perhaps stranger than the foot is that NONE of the possible parents have anything resembling a crest. It's my understanding the crest must be present in at least one parent for it to be passed on. That the duck can't carry but not display the gene and pass it to offspring. So that's quite interesting. I even chased the parents down and got them in a head lock today to feel around on their heads lol. Nothing abnormal or resembling a crest at all
I'm a latecomer to this thread, but if its a parasitic twin, maybe the crest is just part of the other twin not an actual "crest"?

Hey, can I rant about some of my geese on here for some reason? Yes? Okay.
I had a goose named Stumpy (he will be important later) which is gonna be a 2-year old in like, winter this year I think. So, Stumpy:
Male
Chinese goose (that what their called? He has a bump on his head.)
1-2 year old.
Father: Yes (sadly they both are gone.)
Anyways, this year we found his Stump-lets (baby Stumpys!) and one died. So, I decided to name his son Stumpy jr. I was a grandmother to my gosling. He grew up with ducklings and boom. Now, around like March?
(Or something!) He’s gone. I am still sad due to that. But, I found out that his son “DISSAPEARED” or “GOT ATTACKED.” I’m thinking the pigs we have got him or he actually did the above.
Stumpy JR.
Male/Female.
Not too old, around like 3 or 4 months. (Not sure I forget.)
Father/Mother: “ITS 3 OR 4 MONTHS OLD”
Chinese Goose x some random goose idk (I don’t know if he had his fathers trait as there wasn’t a bump.)
Friendly.
Goodbye, that’s my rant. Also, if it’s not related to the thread, ITS A GOOSE.
PS: Stumpy had burns on him and now has burn scars as Stumpy was left in the incubator for 4 days. 4. Days.
So, Stumpy’s healed and the alpha of his flock. Lets say we have around 30 to 40 geese outside w/ ducks. Bye now.
