I posted yesterday asking about some eggs & never got any replies, but I really need some help! I need to know when I should take the egg rotation device out of my incubator.

How far along are these eggs? What am I looking at in the first picture?

Any help is appreciated! šŸ’•

Try candling and photographing in a darker room, like completely dark if you can manage. The darker the room, the better you'll be able to see inside the egg. Candle from the air cell end and take pictures, and candle again from the pointy end and take pictures. Right now it's hard to tell in these pictures. The first egg doesn't look like it's as far along as the others - were they all started at the same time? With an egg at this stage of development, the first egg should have lots of clearly visible, thick veins, which are hard to see right now. Try getting better pictures and post again. Do you see movement?

I know it's been a few weeks. šŸ˜• Maybe around Christmas?
If thatā€™s when she started sitting they would be due to start hatching about now šŸ˜³ take @K0k0shka advice and get more pictures and post just to be sure. Have you got the brooder and everything ready for when they hatch? Itā€™s not a given the mum will except them back, so best to have a back up plan.

I do have a backup plan! I also have another hen that's been taking them in as they're born. šŸ˜… she's up to 3 now!
I'll definitely get some better pictures tonight when it's darker in that room.

We saw movement in all but one egg, but we also didn't sit & stare for a long time. From the chart posted above, it looked like they were all in between day 10-18. So I may go ahead & remove the turner just in case. I would hate for anyone to get hurt because of it!
