Anyone candle tonight? I didn't yet, but I have some to do tomorrow so if I go back out to the garage, I am going to go for it. I am hoping it will stop raining soon.

OMG I just got inside from candling (in my garage) and then checked the thread. We are candling twins.

Bad news is ... for some reason my humidity is not staying up. And, I think one little ducky has petered out on me. Not growing and is a black mass now...

Edited to add: Why am I so attached to these eggs!!! This is ridiculous! I jump out of bed each morning to get on this thread and check temps/humidity! I am out of control.

Day 19, no pips yet so I made a quick LAST peak at a few of them!

I saw two internal pips!

They are on lockdown for sure now!

The rocking is my favorite! I feel like their saying "hey I'm in here"!

We have seen 4 of ours rocking of course that was after staring at the Bator every time we go in the kitchen!

Put some wet sponges in. This will raise Humidity considerably.

ok... i had to break the 'rules' just a teeny bit. i candled the eggs in the hatcher. but the humidity was up to almost 80% so i HAD to open it to get it down just a little. don't want them drowning. really.

so when i closed it i put a bit of hot water on the paper towel to get it back up faster...

i tell myself i won't do it again unless i HAVE to...

really.
