I Will Stop Candling I Will Stop Candling

I think we all would but wouldn't we have to give up our bators and eggs....it would be too much of a temptation.....at least for me...but counciling might help....

Fairytale, aren't you the one who's DH bought those wonderful eggs for them? Wellll, I will be hoping to see a topic with daily updates of their arrival, candling, etc! Or you can just PM me all the details! I just love silkies!

Fairytale, just realized you were the other bidder, when you win the next ones I want a full report!

Hi! I'm Marie and I'm a candling addict! I have candled my current hatch everyday! Why not? I wash my hands very good before and after, I have a forced air incubator with a wafer thermostat that recovers my temps within minutes and does NOT fluctuate, and I'm real gentle with handling my eggs! So what's the harm? Until I start harming others, I'm not quitting!

I fought the urge for a couple hours after I came home today, but the force of the incubator is stronger than my will!! I raise my hand a say "YES, I CANDLED MY EGGS! AGAIN!!" I am a little disappointed. It appears one of mine has quit growing

It had good movement 2 days ago, but today, no movement and it looked like it is dead. The other 7 are looking good

Girl! I wish my DH would buy those eggs! Lol! That was another lucky bidder who's husband is a rare find!

Well when you get the next ones I want a full report and daily updates on those gold plated eggs

I am now trying to figure out how to get eggs from the post office that ship on the 24, to my home, and into the bator, without my DH finding out that I "bought" eggs!!! I think I will bribe my son to check the mail/or go to the post office, but he relishes in telling on me. OH, how am I going to figure this one out!!!

What day are your eggs on?

They are on day 15. I can distinctly see a head laying against the shell, but no movement, no blood flow.
