Just to add something though, I don't have a problem with people practicing their religion at home. Just keep it at home.

X2 You move to an English speaking country. If you want to live there learn the language. Plain and simple, want to be an
American? Speak like one.

Thank you for bringing back the subject that was posted, although many do not agree with the views Mr. Pragger holds there is much to ponder in this speech. I am saddened by the hate that many have expressed...

I think that is frankly ridiculous. How can it possibly offend you just to hear someone speaking in another language? I wish I could speak another language fluently. I wish that here in the US our schools put more emphasis on learning a language other than English. We are so overshadowed by other countries in that regard. People from other countries often speak two or more languages. We are apparently so threatened by other cultures that we can't even bear to hear Spanish, or French, or Chinese, etc; being spoken in a conversation we aren't even a part of

. I'm sure that if you travel to another country that you will make certain you are fluent before you step off the plane. Otherwise you better just keep your mouth shut for your whole visit.

If I know I am traveling to another country I will try to learn the language. If I am traveling to another country about business I expect to hear English cause after all, it is the language of trade.
