No kidding!

We have snow cover again..........
So beautiful.

The severe cold is here. -9 tonight and high tomorrow -2. Down to -15 tomorrow night with -40 windchills
Brrrrr....

I got three pullet eggs today!!
Did you move to Canada recently? Holy smokes, that is cold. I'd die I'm sure, being a CA native.

It's cold here also. The Icelandic chickens are hanging out in the garage. Pardon the mess, but we hastily made room for the tractor before the cold hit.

Oh, and Trouble is in the "nesting box"

I like Trouble, she has spunk. Of course it helps that you have to deal with her. (and not me)

At least she wasn't taking off in the car.

I guess none of you want to hear that we are 72* today......(don't smack me)

I got six eggs today!! All Icelandic (although one of my kathyinmo German New Hampshires is laying every third day or so)! Four pullet eggs and two hen eggs! I hope they save some for March setting!!

If you need snow to shovel you can have mine. Actually 6 inches of powder is not a problem but the "pretty" wears off fast when traffic over the powder compresses it to ICE.
