Amazing sometimes how we are blessed and don't realize it till after. So glad Mary, that you were not in the car and I'm hoping your DH has no problems from the accident.

Still cleaning up from the haboob. I will take me a couple of weeks.

The HOUSE is coated in dust that came in through the cracks. My eliptical trainer looks like it has been abandoned for months, when I have been on it regularly, I SWEAR!

Dear Fellow Nerds,

I have an Icelandic chick that always looks like a dog has been chewing on it. Closer inspection indicates chick has wierd feathers.

I can't get a picture, since the Icelandics are jumpy freakshows.

Perhaps it has weird feathers like that little chick?

Thoughts?

Nerdastically,
Laree

Mary, so glad you stayed home and that Michael it ok as well. Scary stuff, thankfully you have someone looking out for you.

Laree, there have been a lot lately that are having weird feathers.

Does anyone know if any of the other lines are having this? Since most of the birds on this thread originated with Mary, they are getting multiple doses of the same genes. Even tho her original birds were not related. Please correct me if I am wrong. Also (IMHO) in the wilds of Iceland I doubt that with these strange feathers they would be able to survive.

Actually, my gene pool is more diverse than most as I have birds from both imports made by Sigrid as well as the line brought in by Lyle Behl. I have never had one with frayed feathers.
